In only certain areas that school has banned the novel. Since it consists of rape, and child abuse. I think it's fine for a high school to read the novel. Since I have read it and it is a very good book if I do say so myself. There are more reasons but I can't think of any more reasons. Also I think because of the morals and stuff.
