The major difference between diploma in marine engineering and marine engineering is that in Diploma you study in a higher school or inter college also diploma is maximum of three years, on the other hand marine engineering is being studied in university and is at a higher level than diploma because it have four years and its level of study is also high.
Either, do BTEC NATIONAL DIPLOMA IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING (2 YEAR COURSE level 2/3) or AN AERONAUTICAL ENGINEERING COURSE IN CERTAIN COLLEGES, LIKE SUSSEX, or you could do an APPRENTICESHIP IN AERONAUTICAL/AEROSPACE ENGINEERING and earn while you train. :). The Grades you need will be A*-C in Maths, English and Science (Physics) :)
Mechanical diploma level jobs on contract base
yes
Meteorology is a subset of mechanical engineering. But it takes highly specialized training, normally at the graduate level, to qualify for most jobs in the field.

I am an engineering student at the University of Rhode Island. Most schools that offer engineering as a major will require you to go up to Level III Calculus, as well as classes involving equations with multiple unknowns. Mechanical engineering is a very rigorous and difficult major, but if you study hard, you will do absolutely fine.
There are so many opportunities for higher studies after diploma in mech. You can join various mechanical oriented B.tech courses like.... B.Tech Mechanical B.Tech Automobile engineering B.Tech Mechatronics B.Tech Plastic engineering B.Tech Aeronautical engineering B.Tech Marine engineering AME Aircraft Maintainence Engineering If you want to do any short term courses there are so many options.. These are all 1 year courses listed below: CNC training CAD Training(autocad,proe,catian).... Some colleges offer B.tech lateral entry 2nd year for diploma students. My opinion is better to continue ur studies from 2nd year....
That all depends on where. If we are talking about finding an entry level mechanical engineering job in the US, they currently are hard to find. But jobs for experienced mechanical engineers are considerably less hard to find. As many people say, there will always be a need for mechanical engineers. But mechanical engineering is not exactly 'hot' profession. If you are looking to study mechanical engineering, this is certainly something to keep in mind. The jobs are out there. But there's not an abundance of them. And you may have to relocate to somewhere you would rather not in order to land an entry level mechanical engineering job.
I would take it to the next level, say mechanical engineering HVAC or thermal engineering. A lot less dirty and a whole lot more money.
B. E civil engineering means bachelor of Engineering in civil engineering discipline and Diploma is 3 yr course in civil engineering discipline. Diploma Engineering course equivalent to 12th class in indian and B. E is equivalent to Graduate course. Diploma Engineering course equivalent to 12th class in indian and B. Degree vs Diploma Both degree and diploma are awards conferred on to a person on the successful completion of an educational course.
