Huckleberry Finn was banned because a certain racial slur re-appeared a few times during its narrative. Even though it was clear that the author was denouncing slavery and the discrimination against African Americans, the authorities didn't want children to incorporate this word into their speech. Also, some held the opinion that Jim's character was too limited and perpetuated racial stereotypes rather than rising above them.

Huckleberry Finn
it is Huckleberry fin because he is describing parts of his life and how he gets through tough times
The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn was Samuel Clemens, also known as Mark Twain.
Although Huckleberry Finn is fairly sceptical about religion (reflecting Mark Twain's scepticism), it's more it's racial language (particularly the use of the n-word) that's caused calls for the book to be banned from US schools - it's the fourth most banned book in USA schools.
