In Norse mythology, Fenris is a giant wolf and Fenrir is a monstrous wolf. In a battle between the two, it is believed that Fenrir would likely emerge victorious due to his immense strength and cunning nature.
In Norse mythology, Fenrir and Fenris are actually the same creature. Fenrir is a giant wolf also known as Fenrislfr. So, in a battle between Fenrir and Fenris, it would be like asking who would win in a battle between a wolf and itself.
One mythological wolf god was Fenrir, from Norse mythos. He is the son of Loki (the god of mischief) and the giantess Angrboða. Fenrir is one of the most well-known gods from the Nordic tribes, along with Odin and Loki, because a prophecy was made about him in the northern legends - that he would kill Odin at the end of the world.
If you compare Fenrir to Set (who killed Osiris), Horus (son of Osiris) could be equivalent to Vidar who kills Fenrir after Fenrir kills Odin.
There were several black dogs in Norse mythology, the most prominant of whom were the fell dog Garm and the Fenrir (or Fenris) wolf. Fenrir (Always known as "the Fenris wolf") was one of Loki's offspring and was responsible for the slaying of Odin during the battle of Ragnarok. He was in turn slain by Vidar, who, holding Fenrir's lower jaw to the ground with his steel shoe, rent the wolf's maw in two. Garm, another progeny of Loki was known as "the fell dog Garm" or "The hel hound". He resided within the underworld with another of loki's offspring; Hel (Goddess of the underworld), Garm fought with the god Tyr at Vigrid and both succumbed to mortal wounds from the encounter. The wolves Hati, Skoll and Managarm, nurtured into hatred by the giantess Iarnsaxa (or Angur Boda) in Ironwood were those who would chase Sol and Mani across the sky as they drew their chariots (Carrying the sparks that were the sun & moon) thence. When they were loosed, they quickly overtook Sol and Mani and devoured them both, plunging the world into a darkness that became synonymous with the Fimbul Winter.
This would be a reference to Fenris - if it was a wolf instead of a unicorn.
When Lupin was a little boy, his father had a fight with Fenrir Greyback, who said he would get revenge, and he did by biting Lupin.
Some unique Fenrir names for a pet wolf could be Shadowfang, Moonhowl, Frostbite, Nightshade, or Stormclaw.
In a battle between Rand Paul and Thanos, Thanos would likely win due to his immense power and abilities.

They told him that he couldn't break it so he accepted the challenge on the condition that if he couldn't break it, he would eat one of their hands.
