Changing the format to JPEG should cure the problem. Most likely your original photo will already be in .jpg format. In the photo management software, free ones or even the ones built in the operating system of the computer you can do few things to reduce file size of the photo. You can either resize the image or use more compression. Resize will reduce size of the image (number of pixels will reduce) and compression will reduce overall quality of the image. When you use save as .jpg most software will allow you to select the compression level you want to save the image with. - Neeraj Sharma
to make a picture file smaller, simply download a program in which you can resize and save photo. or you could go towww.resizr.com
Load the image into an image program such as GIMP and select parts and save them into separate files.
1.2 megabytes = 9 830.4 kilobits 1.2 megabytes = 1 228.8 kilobytes 1.2 megabits = 1 228.8 kilobits 1.2 megabits = 153.6 kilobytes whatever the case, yes it is....
Yes very many before you download make sure its the right type of file and approximate size (Mb)
You could attempt to compress the document. LMZA-type compression is one of the more efficient methods. You could use a free file archiver like 7-zip (http://www.7-zip.org/) or Disk ARchiver (http://dar.linux.free.fr/).
To send a PowerPoint:Save it onto your computerGo to your e-mail serveceWrite an e-mailAdd an attachment by clicking BrowseSelect your PowerPoint documentThen send!Hope i helped!!!!!Sometimes the PowerPoint file might be too large to send through attachment. Then you should try to convert your ppt into other formats which is smaller, such as flash. You can try some software (click the link below). I have once make a 41 MB PowerPoint file into a 1.3 MB flash. All the features in your PowerPoint would be retained.
At 2.3 MB, there is simply no way to make the Santa Xmas Nightmare game fit onto a 1.44 MB floppy disk as a single file. Using some archiving software, you may be able to split the file into two parts, put each part onto a floppy disk, transfer it to another computer, and reassemble it.
Actually continued question...not answer: The reason I ask is that my IT department has asked us to make our files smaller and I don't know what size file was sending before. There are 15 guys like me around the nation and we have collectively shut down our billables due to file size. I have no idea what the others are doing/sending so it could be them to blame...I don't know. I guess another question is ((((HOW BIG IS A MEGABYTE?)))). Please explain this in terms that I can understand. I am just a guy working in the Industrial Field. I just sent the 8MB file and I send these every Friday. I imagine that I range from 6 MB to 20 MB depending on how well I do with billables. Please help a barely computer literate guy figure this out? Thanks in advance, G
To achieve a JPEG file size of around 2 MB, you can start by setting the image dimensions (width and height) based on the intended use, such as 1920x1080 pixels for a high-quality photo. Then, adjust the JPEG quality setting during export or saving; a quality level between 70-80% often balances file size and image quality well. Additionally, consider using image compression tools to optimize the file size further without significant loss of quality.
Lol
It really depends on how long the song is, and the size of the file. The average song (3 minutes long) is about 3 megabytes, therefore 1000 songs would be 3 gigabytes, but it all depends on the size of the file. But I'd say on average a megabytes a minute. An easy way to figure it out is to look at the size of your songs, make an average size, and really if its a thousand songs, you can just change the megabytes at the end to gigabytes. Hope I could help you.
Just use video splitter. video splitter will splitt the file over 702mb then you can burn it to cdr.
