To use CyberLink YouCam for video chatting, first, ensure that it's installed and set up on your computer. Open YouCam and select the 'Video Chat' option, then choose your preferred video chat platform (like Skype or Zoom) from the list. You can customize your webcam effects and settings within YouCam before starting the chat. Finally, initiate a video call from your chosen platform, and it will use YouCam as the video source.

go to start menu, search for you cam. click the one that says Cyberlink Youcam. NOT the one that has (webcam) after it. once that is open then go to skype and click tools then options, and under video go to the drop down menu that is at the top right ( i believe ) and change it from your default webcam to the youcam. once this happens make your video call and you should see the youcam video effects panel popup shortly after your webcam starts
