To delete all pictures press the M button, the press the camera logo button twice. To delete last picture taken press the M button twice, then press the camera logo button. FYI After pressing the M button the first time you'll see a logo of trash can in the lower left corner of the screen. After the second time you press the M button(immediatly after the first), you'll notice the trash going into the can become solid.

Yes, formatting your camera (which formats the memory card as well) will delete your photos. You need to back up your photos before you format them, unless your photos are unwanted.

im the one that asked the question. what i didn't mention is that i have a digital camera with no memory card (or slot) i have a USB cable and i'd like to konw if there is a product that i can plug the USB into save the photos so i could delete the ones on the camera??? with out using a PC hope this helps a little thx
