On the right hand side of the home page is the personal menu. Click the first option "My Account". Then either click the link that says "delete account" from the list of links at the top of the "My Account" page. Or scroll all the way to the bottom of the my account page and click the delete account link. A window will pop up with a long warning. At the bottom of the warning enter your username and password and click the DELETE MY ACCOUNT. Be sure you won't ever need it again because the deletion is Instant, and also irreversible.
