No. the individual particles are not moving in the right to left direction. rather, they moves up and down. it is the wave that is going right to left.
Most people consider "panning the camera" as turning the camera either left or right, usually to keep a moving person or object in the viewing frame. Sometimes this definition is extended to vertical rotations as well.

If something appears to be moving to the left of you, it means that its motion is directed towards your left side relative to your own position. This can occur if the object is actually moving to the left, or if you are moving to the right while the object remains stationary. Another possibility is that the object is stationary, but you are moving to the left.
The shutter speed of the camera will affect the appearance of motion in a photograph of a moving object. A faster shutter speed will freeze the motion and capture the object sharply, while a slower shutter speed will create motion blur, giving the sense of movement in the photo.

To take a panorama shot with a smartphone camera, open the camera app and select the panorama mode. Hold the phone horizontally and slowly move it from left to right or right to left while keeping the camera steady. The camera will automatically capture multiple images and stitch them together to create a panoramic photo.
