Of the two, for general use I would choose the 360 because its lighter weight would put less strain on the hot-shoe mount and it adds less to the weight of an already hefty camera.

it should be fine, the pentax240z flash trigger voltage has been measured at 4.8v I couldn't find the limit for the hotshoe voltage, but it is most likely very high. (Canons tend to be low like around 6volts max. my Kodak is 400volts max).
