It depends on who you work for and where you live. I began working in the pharmacy at CVS and was paid around $7.50 not being certified. When I got certified, CVS only raised my hourly wage $.25. WOO HOO.... I was pissed. So I applied to Walgreens and I started out at around $11.50 being a certified pharmacy tech and I have been there now for 2 years and I am over $12 now. I have heard that each pharmacy does have a cap as far as how much one makes but I'm not sure what it is. Also, with Walgreens, if you become a senior tech, you make more money based on the amount of prescriptions filled.
