What is printed circuit heat exchangers?

Printed Circuit Heat Exchangers (PCHEs) are characterised as high integrity plate type heat exchangers. They are fabricated from flat metal plates (sheets) that have fluid flow channels chemically etched into them using the same process as printed circuit hence the product name. The etched plates are stacked and diffusion bonded together to make the core of the heat exchanger(s). PCHEs can be made of one or several cores welded together to suit the duties required. Headers and nozzles are attached to the core(s) to complete the exchanger. PCHE are highly compact, highly robust exchangers and can achieve high thermal effectiveness of over 98% depending on the process: - PCHE are four to six times smaller than conventional shell and tube heat exchangers of the equivalent duty. - They have a pressure capability in excess of 600 bar (9000 psi) and can cope with extreme temperatures, ranging from cryogenic to above 900°C (1650°F). They are well established in the upstream hydrocarbon processing, petrochemical and refining industries. They can incorporate more than two process streams into a single unit. This design feature has space and weight advantages, reducing exchanger size together with piping and valve requirements. Additional functions can be included in the exchanger design, such as chemical reaction, mass transfer and mixing, optimising the process considerably. The association of chemical etching and diffusion bonding processes into a single product allow the use of a wide range of materials of construction enabling the use of a wide range of clean fluids in the heat exchanger, including corrosive ones.

I don't know what you mean by s Indian, I assume you mean South and by Indian I assume you mean the country of India. Most likely there is no governmental specification for buried LNG line. There are 2 main ways to protect buried pipeline. By coatings or wraps Most major pipeline companies specify nominally 25 mils of an Epoxy classified as a FBE (fusion bonded epoxy) that works in conjunction with cathodic protection. Most pipes installed are shop coated with a powder and baked. Rehabilitation uses a liquid applied 2 component epoxy applied with either a plural component sprayer, cardtrigde sprayer for girth welds and small area (a pneumatic powered big caulk gun), or by hand (Poor quality finish - many holidays). The downside of coatings is that they cannot take temps above 450F depending on brand- but that is mostly applicable to crude. They may also fail earlier then wraps - will still have 50yrs+ if applied right. The upside of coatings - they fail safe - cathodic protection will let you know when the coatings have failed. Wraps are another way to go. Polyolefin, bituminous and others, but these are the most popular. Polyolefin upsides - stays pliable for 50yrs+ - newer technology then bituminous. Drawbacks- Does not work in conjunction with CP. No way to tell if they have failed. That is when you get explosions. Bituminous wraps - asphalt based wraps The upside of bituminous wraps. They are low cost for initial investment. The drawbacks of bituminous wraps. They are not fail safe (see above), they can become brittle in far less then 50yrs. Hope this helps

Vitrified tile are stronger and much less pores. Meaning it is more stain resistant. Ceramic is glazed with only a thin layer of color. The remainder is red or white clay. If it chips you are left with clay showing. Where as vitrified and solid in color and material. Ceramic cannot be used outside where vitrified can. Vitrified though is far more costly then ceramic.
