Lots of vegatables are alkaline.
Soap.
Indigestion and heart burn medicines.
Batteries.
Soils and rocks can be depending on the minerals in them.
^ You can get 10 out of that :)
Examples of bases include sodium hydroxide, ammonium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide, and calcium dydroxide. All bases release hydroxide ions.
Baking soda, bleach, drain cleaner, hand soap, oven cleaner, milk of magnesia, blood, antacid, ammonia, nitrogen (organic base). Most household cleaners are basic as well :)
Bases
Examples: hydroxides of alkali metals.
Bleach and Ammonia
Three examples of household bases are: Bleach, Baking Soda and Coke. :)
Strong bases. They are alkali metal hydroxides.
Bases are substances that can undergo neutralization reactions with acids. Hydroxides of Group 1 and 2 can be given as examples for bases.
Bases
Examples: aluminium and magnesium hydroxides.
Examples: hydroxides of alkali metals.
Acids and bases are not salts.
Bleach and Ammonia
Three examples of household bases are: Bleach, Baking Soda and Coke. :)
Some examples of bases are Water, Milk of Magnesia, Antacids, etc.
Baking soda,and ammonia
orange juice
Strong bases. They are alkali metal hydroxides.
Most bases are anioc particles: OH-, CO32- etc. Examples of neutral bases are ammonia, NH3, and (small) organic amines.
