it is still acid but weaker because the water-acid base ratio grows depending on how much water or acid base there is You need water to make acid (e.g. Hydrogen Chloride itself is not acid, it is an acid base, but when dissolved in water it is a very strong acid)

What acid does a car battery have?

Typical Lead acid batteries use sulfuric acid while most Hybrid High Voltage batteries will use some form of either Sodium or Potassium Hydroxide as an electrolyte which is not acid but a basic.Battery acid is sulfuric acid, H2SO4. It is present as a 33% (6 molar) aqueous solution (dissolved in water)Sulfuric acid (H2SO4) Sulfuric Acid 35% and distilled water 65 % this mixture is called electrolyteIn a Lead Acid Car Battery, the acid used is Sulphuric Acid (H2SO4).

What dissolves granite?

Any acid is capacble of dissolving granite, though the rate of which it is dissolved depends upon the "strength" of the acid. The "strength" of an acid can be measured commnly by pH. So an acid with a pH of 6 will take a long time to disolve the granite, whereas an acid with a pH of 1 will take a much shorter time.

This is just easy. MOLARITY OF THIS COMPOUND IS 3MOLDM-3.

Is broccoli and acid or a base?

Scott Horn: "Capsaicin is a molecular compound, as opposed to an ionic compound. It does not dissociate in water, and therefore solutions of capsaicin do not have a pH that is easy to calculate. The pH of capsaicin in solution would depend primarily on the liquid the capsaicin was dissolved in."

Why does the pH of water decrease when a acid is added?

Acid on the PH scale is from 1 to 6. water being 7 and anything above seven to 14 being a base. Adding an acid with a ph of 1 with water makes it a 3.5 on the ph scale. How?, The acid's H+ or H3O- became less concentrated when water was added.
