No it would be a group 18 element (helium, neon, argon, xenom, krypton or radon). These are unreactive, gaseous non-metals, which don't conduct heat or electricity at all well.

This element is a metalloid.

Is germanium a good conductor of electricity?

Germanium is a good conductor because it is between silicon and tin, its a metalloid. Tin can conduct electricity and so can germanium

Is silicon dull?

Silicon is a relatively nonreactive metalloid.

Is sulfur a conductor of heat and electricity?

Yes,it should be,although it is not a good one, because it is a metalloid.

Can a conductor also be an Insulator?

Theoretically no, because that's like saying "can hot be cold" but certain metalloid are capable of conducting and insulating electricity.

What are subconductors?

A sub-conductor in Chemistry is a metalloid. Since it's not a nonmetal they can conduct some electricity and heat but not as well and fully like a complete metal.

Is a metalloid a good conductor?

NO, a metalloid is not a good conduct of heat. -UND34D ASSASSIN

How is a metaloid like a metal?

metal and a metalloid is both a conductor.

What is a metalloid called if it conducts electricity better than non-metals but not as well as metals?

Probably Water, it conducts but doesnt send the current around a single direction, instead scatters it out.

How a metalloid differs from a nonmetal?

A metalloid has metallic traits as well as nonmetallic, such as a moderate ability to conduct electricity.
