gas
Gas particles are in constant motion and do not touch each other in the way that solids and liquids do. Instead, gas particles are relatively far apart and primarily interact through collisions. The space between gas particles is much greater than the size of the particles themselves.
A solid is a state of matter with definite shape and volume. It maintains its shape and does not flow to take the shape of its container. Solids are characterized by their strong molecular bonds that hold particles in a fixed position.
The different states (which are solids, liquids and gases) are determined by the amount of energy present in the system. Energy is found in several forms, but kinetic energy is the form that the state of matter takes on, especially when it is changed from one state of matter to another. The various states of matter are always in constant motion. In liquids and gases, the motion known as the Brownian motion occurs. This is where particles move randomly while suspended. Even in solids, the particles continue to move, but is a vibration around a fixed point, and is not as free as the liquids and gases. Hope that helped!! <(^_^)>
Matter is anything that has mass that takes up space. So for example a rock takes up space so that is matter, a chair takes up space. It could be anything around you. Things that aren't matter are ideas and emotions, etc. Things about matter is mass, density, size, volume, weight.
anything that takes up space. brick
Gas particles do not touch each other in the way that solid particles do. The particles in a gas are in constant motion and are separated by large distances relative to their size. However, they can collide with each other and with the walls of their container.
of course not that would make it completely dangeorous!!!
gas is a state of matter that can be squashed.
Alaska and Hawaii
48 states touch at least one other state. Some states of the 48 touch at least 3 other states. Only Alaska and Hawaii don't touch another state.
Alaska is not an island. It does not touch any other state.
no but kind of but they touch together 50%
Hawaii.

48 states touch at least one other state; all but Alaska and Hawaii.
Hawaii is an island state that does not touch any other states.
