Best Answer

Yes, Molecules are what create elements.

two oxygen molecules and one hydrogen molecule creates a water(element)

Answer 2

An element consists of only one sort of atom, but in some elements these atoms join together to form molecules, but these molecules will only be made of one type of atom.

Yes, seven of the elements; hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen, fluorine, chlorine, bromine, and iodine form diatomic molecules (H2, N2, O2 etc) Phosphorous can form P4 molecules and sulfur can form S8 molecules. Carbon can form fullerines such as C60.

It's very very rare to see a metal as a molecule. It occurs mainly with non-metals.
