Not normally. The residue is unburned gunpowder, and different types of gunpowder can be used in different cartridges, and the same type of gunpowder can be used in more than one type of cartride.
To remove glue residue from old lace on a wedding gown, you can try dabbing the residue with a cloth soaked in warm, soapy water to help soften it. Then gently scrape off the residue with a dull knife or use a cotton swab dipped in rubbing alcohol to dissolve the glue. Be very careful not to damage the delicate lace fabric during the removal process.
Try using more sticky residue as most glues when solidified can be removed by slightly rubbing them or using the same glue to remove but be careful, just try it what is there to loose. TOUGH LOVE LARRY I bought a gorgeous red suede jacket at a yard sale. Only one problem- when I removed the giant masking tape price tag - it left a big patch of residue. Here's how I was able to remove it ... I applied packing tape to the area, pressed it down very hard & then pulled it up. I did that 4 times & you can not tell there was ever a problem in that area. Whew! CLEVER SHEL
I called Anderson Wood Floors because I have the same problem, and they told me to use Mineral Spirits; that it should get all the residue off, however not without using a bit of "elbow grease." I have not tried it yet, as I just got the info.
Simple dont u know science just boil the water and check if there is any salt residue..............................
Yes, but only after an extended period of time, and depending on the concentration. I kept a 500 mL glass jar off 50% NaOH in my lab for two years and the glass didn't dissolve, but did get eaten away. At the bottom of the jar there was a rather thick, but under a cm, layer of residue and you could tell that the NaOH has eaten some of the glass away.
If someone is found to have gunshot residue on their skin or clothing it can only mean a few things; all are crucial if a crime involving a gunshot occurs and an investigation follows:They recently discharged a firearmThey were hit by a bullet or grazed ...possibly with powder from the muzzleThey were nearby when a firearm was discharged.
Generally, when bullets are recovered at a crime scene, forensic experts analyze elements like gunshot residue and gun barrel markings to determine the sequence of fired bullets. Additionally, examining the bullet wounds on a victim's body can provide clues about the order in which the shots were fired. However, determining the exact sequence with absolute certainty can be challenging and may not always be possible.
When a gun fires, the primer and burning gunpowder eject residue. That residue is chemically like very few things OTHER than gunshot residue (GSR) If your clothes test positive for GSR, it is a pretty safe bet you were very close to a gun that was fired. It may or may not tell whether YOU fired the gun.
There are many ways - such as... Entry & exit wounds on a corpse, powder residue, bullet holes at the crime scene, rifling (on any recovered projectile).
Only a METALLURGIST can tell if the bullet is from the 1860's or not.
read top of barrel. it will tell you the caliber bullet it shoots............
What do you want to know?
Depends on how close of range the gunshot occurs. Most people are more affected by the extreme headache.
You have to tell what game is it in, then i will answer your question.
The Lone Ranger - 1949 The Tell-Tale Bullet - 4.32 was released on: USA: 14 April 1955
The only way to be certain is to remove the bullet with a bullet puller, empty out the powder, and weigh it.
science, Bullet markings and check them with the rifling of the firearm. Barrel twist and or markings can help ID the gun fired from. Nothing can tell you for sure, It can just tell you it was fired from a barrel like that of a type or make.
