Supplemental oxygen from portable or stationary tanks
There are two different types of oxygen tanks: Liquid and Gas. Both have pros and cons, but the pro for liquid tanks is you can carry a smaller tank and have more time, but there are some safety issues. The con for gas is, if you are a person on continuous oxygen, the tanks do not last long resulting in transporting more tanks which is also a safety issue.

No. Oxygen itself is not flammable. Rather, it supports the combustion of flammable materials. Oxygen tanks do, however present a fire hazard. Normal air is 21% oxygen, while oxygen tanks carry 100% oxygen. A higher concentration of oxygen makes it easier to ignite flammable materials and allows a fire to burn hotter.
The first thing similar to an oxygen tank that was invented was invented in 1868

Firefighters typically get oxygen tanks from their fire department or fire station. These tanks are filled with compressed oxygen and are essential for providing breathable air to firefighters in hazardous or smoke-filled environments.
Astronauts bring tanks of oxygen with them when they go into space. The space suits they use to make space walks also have small oxygen tanks on them.
Oxygen tanks should be kept in a well-ventilated area. Oxygen tanks should not be kept in the trunk of a car. "No Smoking--Oxygen in Use" signs should be used to warn visitors not to smoke near the patient.

Yes, oxygen is portable. Though major technicalities play into this, oxygen is technically portable.Although we cannot grasp and carry oxygen with our bare hands to somewhere, you can get oxygen tanks, which make oxygen portable. Oxygen tanks are used for diving and the related, and are made to be portable.
