William Kogut, a murderer, back in 1930, committed suicide using an improvised explosive made using a deck of cards.
Back then, the red dye on the cards contained nitrocellulose, which is an explosive chemical. He took a hollow leg from his prison bed, placed in it the cut-out hearts and diamonds from the cards, and filled it with water. Water reacts with nitrocellulose - Kogut sped the process up by placing the device on a heating vent. Eventually it exploded, killing him.
That depends on how you define "level of entropy". Usually the term refers to the degree of randomness in a system. If the system is defined as a deck of cards, then the level of entropy will depend on how randomized the cards are. A standard deck comes with the cards in a pre-set order for which the entropy would be considered zero (perfect order). Any deviation from that initial order would then increase the level of entropy; it is thus necessary to not only state what the system is (a deck of cards) but to also state the condition of the system (how well shuffled the cards are) before you can determine the level of entropy of the system.
The cards (matter) can be rearranged constantly, placed with others, the total or resent amount remains constant.
Items such as a small apple, a deck of playing cards, a stack of 20 US quarters, or a medium-sized lemon typically weigh around 100g.
Dmitri Mendeleev is credited with developing the periodic table in a form close to its modern version. He arranged the elements based on their properties and left gaps for undiscovered elements, predicting their properties accurately. This work was inspired by his experience organizing playing cards into sets.

a collection of cards
There are 52 cards in a regular deck of cards.
Typically you put those "just-in-case" cards into your side deck; cards to respond to a variety of deck types. For example, you might include Shadow-Imprisoning Mirror in your side deck for when you go up against a DARK-attribute deck. Including that card in your main deck could prove to be less than optimal if your opponent is not using many DARK monsters.Another use of the side deck (albeit a rare one) is to radically change your deck. The trick here is that your opponent has already seen your deck once and is using their side deck to counter yours. You can throw him/her off by constructing your deck and side deck in such a way that you know which cards to swap out to make your deck run differently (i.e. taking out your effect damage cards to include out-of-play cards).
