Well, After my wife decide to put Mop and Glo on our new laminate floors we found ourselves in a similar position that you are probably in. I have found that white vinegar and water does the trick just nicely. If you have the residue in the joints as well a quick wipe with the vinegar water and a toothbrush takes the cake!! As for the smell.... I hope you like vinegar!!

tidy up first then you don't have to clean round any mess! Dust all surfaces, wash any dishes etc and put them away, vacuum the floors and mop them if needed (woods or vinyl floors). Clean the bathroom. You can clean the windows and mirrors if you're really keen!

You put down the remover and let it soak into the Mop and Glow, then start scraping. I did it to a kitchen floor and was on my knees for almost a week total, with a tooth brush trying to get it all off.
