Melvin Calvin
Melvin Calvin's scientific life began with a thesis on the electron affinity of halogens, this was done under the direction of Professor George A Glocker at the University of Manchester. At that time his interest was in coordination catalysis, particulary metallopophyrins.
Upon coming to Berkeley, California ( at the invitation of Professor Gilbert N Lewis) his interest turned to general theoretical aspects of organic molecular structure and behaviour. From two men were the fundamental interest in the behaviour of organic molecules in their most detailed terms was derived.
The interest combined between General Theoretical Aspects of Organic Molecular Structure, and Catalytic Behaviour of Coordination Compounds were the natural parent of his present preoccupation with the problem of photosynthesis. Carbon-14 which began in 1945, channeled the early work to development of techniques for its use. Its application to the exploration of photosynthetic Carbon Dioxide reduction.
Melvin Calvin was an American who traced chemical co2 during photosynthesis in 1948. ( born in 1911 )
The Nobel Prize in Chemistry 1961 was awarded to Melvin Calvin for his research on the carbon dioxide assimilation in plants.

Julian Banzon was a Filipino scientist whose main contribution to chemistry was the study he carried out into the use of alternative fuels. He advocated the use of renewable resources in fuel production.

The main contribution of Lourdes J. Cruz in the field of chemistry is her study of toxic peptides in Conus snails. She also helped develop conotoxins, which is being studied as a potential pain reliever.
what is field effect
chemistry
the establishment of chemistry
chemistry is very important for medical feild because everything we do is chemistry
melvin Calvin gave a major contribution to the field of Biochemistry. with his explanation of the mechanics of photosynthesis, billions need no longer wonder how "oats peas beans and barley grow". his work has allowed a synthetic photosynthetic fabric to be made. even better, his work has allowed scientists to pinpoint exactly what plants yield hydrocarbonic materials. i'd say that's significant.
