The 2006 Cobalt SS Supercharged has a supercharged 2.0 4 cylinder. These have a "supercharged" emblem on the lower passenger side trunk lid and an emblem under the SS badge on both sides of the car. Also the SS Supercharged came with the large wing on the back (its very good at hiding patrol cars that are sneeking up behind, also a pain when trying to back up after dark). Chevy also made a Cobalt SS, which came with a high output 2.4 liter rated at about 170 hp (Supercharged is rated at 205 hp at the crank, but most dynos show 215 to 220 at the wheels). The non-supercharged SS was made in 2 door and 4 door models. The SS Supercharged came in only 2 door.
It will have about 150-160 hp unless it is supercharged. It could possibly be 205 hp
2005-2007 models came with 205 hp with the supercharged motor 2006-2007 models came with 171 hp with the n/a motor 2008-present models came with 260 hp with turbocharged motor

No they will not fit a cobalt ss. Cobalt ss is 5 X 110. This makes it very difficult to find aftermarket wheels! Check tire rack! Sorry!
No contest, Cobalt SS by about 2 seconds in a 1/4 mile race. Cobalt SS could take corvettes from 1975-early 1980's.
