Well, there are a lot of metals, all in different groups. There is (1)Alkali Metals, (2)Alkaline Earth Metals, (3)Transition Metals, (4)Post-transition metals, (5)Lanthanoids and (6)Actinoids. The first and second groups is rare in everyday use, but have some elements which is used more - Potassium (K), Sodium (Na), magnesium (Mg) and calcium (Ca). The third group is very commonly in use, the most common is Iron (Fe), Gold (Au), Chromium (Cr), Vanadium (V), Copper (Cu), Zinc (Zn), Titanium (Ti), Platinum (Pt) and Silver (Ag). The fourth group Is more common than rare, but has less use. The more popular elements are Aluminium (Al), Tin (Sn) and Lead (Pb). The last two groups is very rare, and unstable, Less unstable Lanthanoids are Neodymium (Nd), Cerium (Ce), Uranium (U), Plutonium (Pu). There is 20 metals for you. Hope I helped.
