To write a condensed structural formula, use a simplified way to represent the atoms and bonds in a molecule. Instead of showing all the atoms and bonds, only the essential parts are included. This helps to quickly and clearly show the structure of the molecule.
CH4
CH3(CH2)3CH3 Strung out it is CH3-CH2-CH2-CH2-CH3
I'm guessing it would be something close to CH(CH2)5OH HEX...common... hex means 6 so there is 6 carbons in a row C-C-C-C-C-C Its ending is OL making it an alcohol which needs a OH on the end C-C-C-C-C-C-OH cyclo means its all connected. I cant do it on the computer but assume that the begining carbon and the ending carbon for a hexagon with a OH coming off the last Carbon. attach 2 hydrogens to the carbons except for the carbon with an OH. Just attach one on that one. Then your set!
The structural formula for sodium nitrite is NaNO2. It consists of one sodium (Na) atom, one nitrogen (N) atom, and two oxygen (O) atoms.
H H H| | |H-C-C-C-H| | | H I HA complete structural formula will show all bonds
CH4
The condensed structural formula for propionaldehyde is CH₃CH₂CHO. In this formula, CH₃ represents a methyl group, CH₂ represents a methylene group, and CHO indicates the aldehyde functional group. Overall, propionaldehyde is a three-carbon aldehyde with the functional group located at one end of the carbon chain.

butanal is analdehyde. An oxygen atom is attached to a carbon chain by a double bond and therefre called a carbonyl group. It is found at the end of a carbon atom/chain. CH3-CH2-CH2-CH=O

The structural formula of chlorous acid is HClO2. It consists of one hydrogen atom, one chlorine atom, and two oxygen atoms bonded together.
The formula given is an approximate molecular formula for hexose sugars, which can have structural formulas distinct from one another.
The formula is CHCl3 . The structure is the same as methane's tetrahedral structure , but with three hydrogens substituted for chlorines.
In the example of staggered ethane in Newman projection, a hydrogen atom on one carbon atom has a 60° torsion angle with respect to the nearest hydrogen atom on the other carbon, so that steric hindrance is minimised. This is picturised in 'Related links', clickable just below this answer.
The structural formula for a methyl group is CH3. It consists of one carbon atom bonded to three hydrogen atoms.
