∙ 12y agoIf it is temporary hard water (calcium hydrogen carbonate), it can be removed by boiling, and using a descaler (weak acid). If it is permanent hard water (calcium sulphate), you would use an ion exchange resin, or add washing soda, then it can be boiled, and a descaler added.
