Then I did two coats of Turtle Wax, then one coat of WD-40a few weeks later, and another coat of Turtle Wax a day after that. It didn't seem to hurt anything to mix them. The board is just barely beginning to be slick enough to make me willing to do another one or two coats of wax. If it's working for me, it should work better for you if your board is in better shape. The WD-40 was really quick, but I think the wax might be better. You put it on and take it off just like you would on a car.
