put the bug in a small jar with a lid that has holes in it and then put that jar in a larger jar then fill the bigger jar about 1/3 of the way with baking soda pour in vinegar and then put the lid on the bigger jar. Wait about 5-10 min and then open the jar and then open the smaller jar and the bug will be sedated.

Same thing but use water and alkaselzer tablets and it works the same way.
