Use a piece of unglazed ceramic material. Rub the gold against it. Fool's gold will leave a black streak, and real gold will leave a golden streak. This ofcourse works for gold and you will lose a bit of gold in the process. There are other methods for other metals and stones.

Well there is no real way to prove it but why start a whole bunch of tale's just to be proven as lie's so they proboly are in a way but maybe if you believe they are real maybe later on in life they will be and dont let anyone say there not because its your amagination that could becoume real plus when there proven real you can rubit in there faces for fun
