im pretty sure that the filter on the side or front of a gas mask filters the air and when you exhale it goes out a part that only passes air out... close enough.. that's what mine does
People do not wear gas masks in hospitals. A gas mask is an item of military equipment intended to protect against poison gas such as chlorine, phosgene etc. In hospitals, people sometimes wear face masks to filter infectious agents out of the air. This is not harmful in any way.
The change of state directly from solid to gas is called sublimation, and the change from gas to solid is called deposition.
The concept of gas masks can be attributed to Garrett Morgan, an African American inventor who patented an early version in 1914. However, the modern gas mask as we know it today was further developed and improved by scientists and engineers during World War I to protect soldiers from chemical weapons.
Change-a (LPG changing from liquid to gas) is a physical change. It does not involve any chemical reactions, as the molecules of LPG remain the same as it transitions between its liquid and gas states.
The phase change in which a substance changes from a gas to a liquid is called condensation. It occurs when the temperature of the gas decreases to reach its condensation point, causing the gas molecules to come together and form a liquid.
how did gas masks change society? what
You don't put gas into gas masks. They are used to keep out poisonous gases.
They were called Gas Masks
yes................
everyone
Gas masks.

Whenever there was a gas attack or the prospect of a gas attack.
Gas masks are used to protect people especially soldiers when gases are used in warfare or domestic disturbances. They were used in World War I to protect soldiers against mustard gas.
yes gas masks were used
They had them in case poison gas was used in the war. Fortunately it wasn't.
