Titanium can be cleaned in a number of ways. It is superbly resistant to corrosion, and it can be cleaned in just about any way that stainless steel can. The cleaning method will depend on the size, shape and application of the titanium you wish to clean. (You wouldn't use a pressure washer on titanium ear studs or glasses frames 'cause it would blow them away.) If you want to wash titanium with acid, you can do so, but that's "extreme" as regards cleaning it. Small parts or items could be boiled in hot soapy or even acidic or alkaline solutions, or can be ultrasonically cleaned using a variety of cleaning solutions, depending on what you want to get off the titanium.
