Introduce moist methane via a delivery tube from one end of U shaped tube. The u shaped tube should contain fused calcium chloride. Dry methane can then be collected from the other end of the u shaped tube.
You can also use concentrated sulfuric acid as a drying agent as methane is a weak acidic gas. Then collect the gas using upward delivery as itβs less dense. Or can also use gas syringe if the gas has to be measured.
