You can determine the End Point of a Fermentation in many different ways.

The parameters OUR (Oxygen Uptake Rate) and CER (Carbondioxide Evolution Rate) will show a good trend, and indicate when to transfer to next scaleUp or stop.

The ratio of OUR and CER gives you RQ, the respiratory Quotient, which tells you which Carbon-source the cells are using as feed. At i.e. glucose RQ = 1, and when feeding on stearic acid RQ goes towards 0,7 - indicating that it is time to add more glucose.

As extra benefits, the Prima dB will measure all other components in the offgas, like MeOH, EtOH, CH4, H2S, other secondary metabolites and many more.
