I had permanent marker all over my wall once. I used the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser and it worked amazingly. There is no trace of permanent marker on my walls at all. And it doesn't matter how long the marker has been on the walls for, because i waited 7 months before even trying to remove it. They are not expensive and they defiantly do the trick.
You can try using rubbing alcohol or a whiteboard marker to remove dry erase marker stains from the wall. Simply apply a small amount of rubbing alcohol or use the whiteboard marker to go over the dried black marker stain, then wipe it off with a clean cloth or eraser.
It depends on the type of marker. Permanent markers are usually designed to be permanent and may not come off easily. On the other hand, dry erase or whiteboard markers are meant to be wiped off easily with a dry cloth or eraser. If you are trying to remove marker from paper, you can try using rubbing alcohol or a specialized marker remover.
Well, one theory is that the chemicals contained in the whiteboard marker somehow reacts to the permanent marker, making it rub off, but it is not an excellent way to clean off permanent marker.

When trying to get a dry erase marker off a dry erase board the best thing to use is glass cleaner. I use it all the time when cleaning mine. Its the same as taking the marker off the overhead projector.

The main difference between a glass board marker and a whiteboard marker is the type of surface they are designed to write on. Glass board markers are specifically made for writing on glass surfaces, while whiteboard markers are designed for writing on whiteboard surfaces. Glass board markers typically have a stronger ink that can be easily wiped off glass without leaving residue, while whiteboard markers are formulated to be easily erased from whiteboard surfaces.

You can just wash it off in the bath or shower.
Lick it
scrubadubdub it as long as it takes to get it off!!
Yes! It is generally unsafe for ANYONE to put permanant marker on their skin! Especially permanant, because it can not be washed off, your skin (like a sponge) absolves the ink and it goes into your bloodstream causing potential ink poisoning.
