Its pretty much origami because you have to fold things and you use science to figure out how much it could hold, you can see the weight of the boat and and if too much it could sink. When you make the boat, you wanna cover the whole area of the boat so it could hold more things in it. You don't wanna put too much layers so it would not sink.
First you wanna make a design first. Then after that you can try to make it. If it doesn't work out try to think of it as if you made already then you took it apart. Then you wanna put another layer of it to cover the whole area. Now you test it out.
