shake it! or if its empty, an air compressor always does the trick too! or really any air pump will do.
To make a soda bottle rocket, you will need a 2-liter soda bottle, a cork, a bike pump, water, and a launch pad. Fill one-third of the bottle with water, attach a cork to the opening, and place the rocket on the launch pad. Pump air into the bottle using the bike pump, quickly remove the cork, and watch it soar!
Place a few mints into a bottle of soda and quickly seal the bottle. The mints will react with the soda, causing the carbon dioxide to rapidly escape, resulting in a small explosion. Note: This experiment can be dangerous, so caution is advised.

When a sealed soda bottle is turned upside down in cold water, the air inside the bottle cools, causing it to contract and create a vacuum. This lower pressure inside the bottle then crushes the bottle as there is greater pressure from the surrounding water, leading to implosion.
The smell in your soda bottle may be due to bacteria growth from residue left behind by your hands or mouth. This can create a body odor-like scent. It's important to wash your hands before handling the bottle to prevent this.
When you do the soda thing, slide mentos into the 2liter bottle of soda, when i goes off make sure your standing back. The explosion will not harm you from the inside or out.
The exact equivalent is 2,000 ml, but it's very close to 4 pints
4.SEK = 43Cents for a can and ~20SEK for a 2liter bottle.
i think about 220 would be a good amount
no, you do not need to shake it for it to pressurize
The difference between the taste of can soda and bottle soda is in my opinion a can soda has less aside then a bottle soda. In a can soda you taste more aside then in a bottle of soda. A bottle of soda only taste good at when you begin to drink it and if you leave it for an hour later the taste goes away and the soda taste sweet. In a can soda you could leave it in a fridge for an hour and when you finish drinking it taste the same.
err, yes, because: bottle mass + soda mass > bottle mass
if it's diet, the chemical in it that gives it that taste will turn into formaldehyde which is a skin irritant and can kill you. regular soda will just get gross and pressurize.
well yes it is because the can is lighter than the soda. But understand that as you put the soda i the can /bottle it does get heavier. But more soda can fit in the bottle than the can so that makes the soda bottle heavier than the soda can.
You remove the bottle from the installation and send it shore side to a testing service. They will then fill the bottle with a liquid and pressurize it to manufacturers recommendation.
These bottles are very collectable to soda bottle collectors. If the bottle is in mint to near mint condition then the bottle is worth about $125. matt_dempsey@hotmail.com
A bottle of soda was a dime (10 cents).
