It has been proved by an experiment that when we pour acid on the metal then the gas will be released then light up a matchstick and up on it ,then we observe some lightening stars coming out from the matchstick ,if it happens like this is the hydrogen.

How do you prove that given salt is carbonate of a metal?

To prove that a salt is a carbonate of a metal, you can add an acid to the salt. If carbon dioxide gas is produced, it indicates the presence of a carbonate. This can be further confirmed by testing the gas with limewater; if it turns milky, it confirms the presence of carbon dioxide, which suggests the salt is a carbonate of a metal.

What is the test for hydrogen gas?

if a burning splint is brought into contact with hydrogen gas a squeaky pop sound will be produced this would prove that hydrogen is present as hydrogen is extremely flamable.

What reaction takes place between hydrochloric acid and zinc sulfide?

When hydrochloric acid reacts with zinc sulfide, a chemical reaction occurs where hydrogen sulfide gas is produced along with zinc chloride. The balanced chemical equation for this reaction is: ZnS + 2HCl → ZnCl2 + H2S. This reaction is a classic example of a single displacement reaction, where the more reactive hydrogen displaces the less reactive zinc in the compound.

Why is it difficult to prove the law when a gas is produced?

It is difficult to prove the law when a gas is produced because gases are often invisible and can quickly disperse, making it challenging to accurately measure and analyze their properties and behavior.

Why is it difficult to prove the law of conservation of mass when a gas is produced?

It is difficult to prove the law of conservation of mass when a gas is produced because gases are often invisible and can escape into the surrounding environment, making it challenging to accurately measure and account for all the mass involved in a chemical reaction.

How could you prove that carbon dioxide is produced when a metal carbonate is heated?

carbon dioxide is produced when a metal carbonate is meated which lets out all the flames of the cell's into the posturational motivation calastural system which means that it is not proven.

What test is done to prove something is metal?

According to the theoretical principles in chemistry, a salt is anything that has an Ammonium or any metal ion replace it's hydrogen atom when a base and an acid are reacted together. Therefore, the best and most efficient way of testing for a metal is through reacting the metal with a known acid, which if the substance is a metal it will form a salt and Hydrogen gas. Alternatively, in order to verify whether an object is a metal or not, placing an electrical probe onto to it to identify whether or not it conducts electricity is a more accurate way of determining whether or not something is a metal.
