Anything you use is going to remove the gloss at that spot. First thing I would try is clear PVC cleaner. Put some on a paper towel and wipe it across the primer quickly. I think this should remove the purple.

My husband and I are redoing a bath and he accidentally splashed purple plumbimg primer on the wall and base of the shower unit. Thought it was a done deal but here is what I did within an hour of his accident.

First I tried applying bleach to an old towel and rubbing the spots - faded some but not much difference.

Next I tried spraying the towel with Oxi-Clean laundry detergent and rubbing - still no change.

Then I tried lemon juice applied the same way - nothing.

Finally, I tried applying De-Solve It to the cloth and rubbing each spot - wah lah! It took every stain out! Had to use elbow grease but it worked and it doesn't appear to have damaged the finish at all!

Don't know if it was the combination of what I used or just the De-Solve It itself but we're very happy that we're not having to spend another $600 on our unit!
