There is no given pH of any acid. pH depends on both how strong the acid (or base) is and how much of it is dissolved in a given volume of water.

So a solution of virtually any acid, strong or weak, can have a pH of 6 depending on concentration.

By definition, pH = -log[H+] so [H+] = invlog(pH) = 10-pH = 10-4.6 (or invlog[-4.6]) = 2.5*10-5 mol/L

pH is a measure of the H+ ion concentration. Therefore if the concentration is 8.6, the pH is 8.6.

What is the pH of soultion?

PH means negative logarithom of hydrogen ion concentration…so value of hydrogen ion concentration in solution is called the PH of solution.

What is the pH solution defined as what of the hydrogen ion concentration?

The pH is a measure of the activity of the ion H+ in a solution.

Is the pH of solution is the negative logarithm of its hydroxide ion concentration?

No, the pH is the negative logarithim to base 10 of the Hydrogen Ion concentration.

What solution has a grater concentration h or OH?

Depends on the pH, at low pH (below pH 7), the H+ ion concentration is greater, and high pH the OH- ion concentration is greater

What is the difference in the amount of hydrogen ion and hydroxide ion in the solution with pH7?

None. In a solution with a pH of 7 the hydrogen ion concentration is equal to the hydroxide ion concentration.

What is the pH of a solution in which the concentration of hydrogen ion is greater than the concentration of hydroxide ion?

Acidic

What is the difference between pH and hydrogen ion concentration?

The pH value of a particular solution is equivalent to -log[hydrogen ion concentration].

The pH of a solution is the negative logarithim to base 10 of the Hydrogen ion concentration.

What is the pH of a solution that has a hydrogen ion concentration of 110?

A hydrogen ion concentration of 110? 110 what? Or is that supposed to be 1x101

Why you need pH?

pH is used as a measurement of the concentration of hydrogen ions in a solution. pH is the negative logarithm of the hydrogen ion concentration.

The H positive ion concentration of a solution can be represented as its pH value the pH of a solution is defined as negative log10 of the hyrdogen ion concentration what is the pH of pure water?

If your question is what is the pH of pure water, then the answer is seven, which means water is neutral.
