That depends on what kind of sugar you're talking about. Table sugar, or sucrose, has the formula C12H22O11. One molecule of sucrose has 22 hydrogen atoms. Blood sugar, or glucose, has the formula C6H12O6. One molecule of glucose has 12 hydrogen atoms. Other types of sugar have different formulas.
