Black pepper is a common DIY temporary fix for radiator leaks. You typically need about 1-2 tablespoons of ground black pepper to pour into the radiator to help seal the leak. It is important to note that this is just a temporary solution and you will need to have the radiator properly repaired.
A flake of red pepper typically weighs around 0.5 grams.
On average, a single green chili pepper typically weighs around 3-7 grams. Size and variety of the chili can affect its weight.
Usually black or brown. It depends how much and what color you're using.
Grey is basically black with white mixed into it. As there is no way to remove the white, your color will always be slightly grey no matter how much black you add.
Although salt and pepper are two very common spices, which we generally consider to be basically similar, nothing could be further from the truth. They are totally different types of substances. They are only similar in appearance. Salt is a mineral, and in fact for the most part, it is a pure compound. What this means is that it contains only one chemical compound, Sodium Chloride. Sodium Chloride is soluble in water. So, for salt, the answer is yes. Pepper, on the other hand, is not a pure substance at all; rather, it consists of finely ground peppercorns, which grow on a pepper plant much like berries. Thus, as organic matter, they contain an astonishing assortment of chemical compounds, proteins, biological structures, fats, minerals, hormones, and all that 'life' requires. Each of these, in turn are composed of less and less complex levels of chemical diversity. In all, there will be thousands of distinct chemical compounds that comprise what we call 'pepper' and which looks so very similar to 'salt.' Each of these compounds will have its own physical and chemical properties, and each may or may not be soluble in water.
YOUR WASTING PEPPER. It won't work. Replace the radiator.
stop putting in so much black pepper!!!!!!!
Yes. It also depending on what kind of stop leak and how much is used.
Your car will leak anti-freeze/coolant. If you run out of fluid in your radiator then your car will overheat in a short period and cause much more damage. Fix your radiator!
28 grams
I have used radiator stop leak before in my 1996 Olds Achieva SC with the V6. I put it directly into the coolant resovor. It went in fine for me. This did not give me much help though. I would not recommend using stop leak. It will clog your heater core and then you will have more than the radiator as your problem. Fine a new radiator and replace it that is the best advidce i can give you.
It is approximately 112 grams
The smell of antifreeze is very strong and distinct, it does not take much of a leak to smell it. The radiator could still be full and have a small leak. I would check for antifreeze dripping onto the exhaust or on the engine block because when it is hot the smell is much more noticeable from the fumes.
You probably have a leak or too much oil is getting in the hood and blowing out the venting hose
It depends on how much is leaking out, if you park and loose a lot of Coolant then you more than likely need a new radiator which including labor and parts $450, you Might want to go to your local auto parts store and buy some radiator stop leak and follow the instructions, it's only about $7.50 an should fix it depending on where your leak is in your radiator. If that doesn't fix it you will need a new radiator. My blazer is in the shop right now and it's gonna cost me $450 for labor and parts. Best of luck!
Got a little too much in my sauce, how can I take a little bite out of it
cost i can not tell you, but this I can...it could be 1 of 4 things...(or all of them) # radiator fluid is low or not there at all # lack of water for the radiator # your radiator has a leak and you are losing fluids # you may need a new thermostat
