The weight of a gallon of sugar can vary depending on the type of sugar. On average, granulated sugar weighs approximately 7.09 pounds per gallon. However, other types of sugar, such as powdered sugar or brown sugar, may have slightly different weights due to their varying densities. It is always best to refer to the specific packaging or manufacturer's information for the most accurate weight measurements.

It depends how much sugar you've added, although unless it is super sugary it will be pretty close to pure water. Pure water weighs 1 kilogram per liter. (1 gallon = 3.7854 liters) So 1 gallon of water weighs 3.7854 kilograms (1 kilogram = 2.2046 pounds) So 1 gallon of water weights 8.345 pounds.

A gallon of sugar weighs 4.175 (approximate) pounds. When combined with a gallon of water (which weighs 8.35 pounds) it will make a total of 1.5 gallon. So in granulated form, sugar weighs half as much as water.

It's hard to give a direct answer to this due to variability of weight dependant on ambient conditions. However assuming it is in a solid state, one gallon of sucrose would weigh approximately 7.215 kilograms. I calculated this by taking the weight of 1cm^3 of sucrose which is around 1.587g/cm^3, then times that by 1000 to give the weight of one litre, then times that by around 4.546 to give the weight of one gallon (there being 1000cm^3 in a litre, and 4.546 litres in a gallon).

Honestly, you would have to know how wet it is. If you put a drop of water on a gallon of sugar, it's wet. If you put a gallon of water on a gallon of sugar, it's still wet...really just depends on how wet it is.
