Limestone is created when the pressure of the ocean compresses the sea bed (including shells, fossils, and calcium deposits) into a hardened form. Limestone is originally made in the oceans.
For a deposit of limestone to become a cliff face would need lots of waves and lots of time. According to the theory of Tectonic Plates, it would be in the area of mountains along the sea, the Rocky Mountains for instance. The moving plate under the ocean would shove against the land plate, causing them to collide and force one plate downward and the other plate upward, creating mountains. This process, of course, would take millions of years. The limestone deposit that originated in the sea would "ride up" the plate to a higher position. Then the waves would crash against them and erode the rock to reveal the limestone.
Spring water is water that comes from natural springs in the ground, where it is filtered through layers of rock to become naturally clean and pure. It is typically free of contaminants and is often prized for its freshness and taste.
A sea arch is most likely to form in coastal areas where waves erode and create a hole through a headland or cliff. Over time, the erosion from waves weakens the rock, leading to the formation of a sea arch.
The Golden Rock, or Kyaiktiyo Pagoda, is covered in gold leaf as a form of offering by Buddhists. This practice symbolizes reverence and devotion to the Buddha and serves as a way to accumulate merit for the worshippers. The rock itself is a granite boulder that balances precariously on the edge of a cliff in Myanmar.
A single bond involves one electron from two atoms, bonding them together with a total of two electrons.
Well you see, as the chalk rubs against the blackboard bits of it get left behind, showing you what your teacher thinks your cursive should look like, or a new trick when dividing big numbers.
A limestone scar is a natural geological feature formed by the erosion of limestone rock, typically in upland areas. It often results in a steep cliff or slope that is characterized by rocky outcrops and ledges. Limestone scars form over long periods of time due to the dissolution of the rock by chemical weathering processes.
Limestone caves are formed through a process called karstification, where rainwater picks up carbon dioxide from the air and soil, creating a weak carbonic acid. This acidic water dissolves the limestone rock over time, creating underground cavities and passages. As the water drains away, it leaves behind caves and unique formations such as stalactites and stalagmites.
They're made of limestone (chalk).
Exposure on a cliff face would be caused by erosion, uplift, or faulting of the crust in an area that was at one time under water.
it is formed by erosion <3

Cliffs are formed when erosion is greatest when large waves actually break against the foot a cliff. The foot of the cliff is undercut to form a wave cut notch. As the notch gets larger, the cliff above it will become increasingly unsupported and in time will collapse. As this process is repeated the cliff will slowly retreat and, usually, increase in height. The gently sloping land left at the foot of the retreating cliff is called a wave cut platform.ITS SNOWING YH THTSBRITEEEEEEEEEExX-I2uN-ReiSS-Xx add my psn
Sea caves, sea arches, and sea stacks are three cliff features that may be formed by wave erosion.
I'd imagine the cliff would have to be formed before the cave
