Most grades of titanium are inert, nonreactive and hypoallergenic. In normal people terms, it will stay as is more or less as long as it is not disturbed. It will become scratched, though not very deeply, with everyday or especially heavy use, but as far as tarnish goes, no it will not.

Titanium is acid and base resistant, withstands extended salt water exposer and holds a shine for a very long time with little, if any, special care. The medical industry uses titanium for implants specifically because it is inert and will not react with very much. I had my and my wifes wedding rings made from titanium and couldn't be happier with them. I expect that they will remain in the family for a great many generations.

The only care we give them is a light buff with a soft polishing cloth and a little Brasso metal polish about once a year. Even then, they really don't look much different after!

How do you clean your Tiffany silver jewelry?

Tarnish is a product of oxidation, caused by the interaction of silver jewelry with certain elements such as oxygen or sulfur as well as with certain acids. Tarnishing on silver jewelry, when worn on a regular basis, usually does not occur. * Storage for a prolonged time causes silver jewelry to tarnish. * Contact with rubber bands may cause tarnish - the sulfur in rubber is a catalyst for tarnish. * Taking a medication that changes the acidity of your skin may cause silver jewelry to tarnish. * To keep your silver tarnish-free, frequently clean your silver in a mild dishwashing liquid diluted in water. * Thoroughly dry your silver jewelry after exposure to water. * Store silver in a dry container or a plastic bag with anti-tarnish paper. To remove tarnish or oxidation film from silver you can use fresh, uncontaminated commercial silver dip liquid, polish paste or polish cloth, available in supply or hardware stores. Make sure there are no loose stones or parts. Limit the gemstone's exposure to silver cleaners - cleaners may harm certain kinds of gemstones. Please read the cleaning product's instructions before cleaning. Thoroughly rinse jewelry after cleaning, and dry with a soft cloth until it's completely dry. There are many sellers claiming to sell designer Replicas (also known as knock-offs, fakes, counterfeit items) that come with tags, authenticity cards, serial numbers and even receipts as authentic. If you wish to purchase authentic Tiffany Co jewelry online, the only place to do so is at the Tiffany website (Tiffany.com) Other sites claiming to be Tiffany websites are fake. What can clean jewelry better coke or lemonade?

I wouldn't use either. There is a way better method and you can use house hold items to make the solution. Mix half water and Mr. Clean with a small amount of ammonia. Soak for 15 seconds then rinse with water and dry. This works well with all types of jewelry. If you are trying to remove tarnish from sterling silver jewelry a mixture of baking soda and water to make a paste works well. Rub the paste on the sterling and then rinse in water and dry.

What is the best metal for ear piercing?

in the case of all piercings surgical stainless steel is the best. almost all legalized piercers would carry it. Titanium is better than "surgical" stainless (which is the exact same metal silverware is made from) as it is COMPLETELY biologically inert. They make medical implants from titanium for this reason. The reason piercers tend to use stainless instead of titanium jewelry is titanium is more expensive, which would raise the price of a piercing, and stainless works well.
