10^-10 basically means that an atom is 10 billionth of a metre. This means that 10 billion atoms can fit across in a line in 1 metre. A millimetre is a 1000th of a metre so 10 billion divided by 1000 equals 10 million. 10 million atoms fit in a straight line along a millimetre. However, you want 0.1mm. To get 0.1mm you have you divide 1mm by 10. You do the same to the atom number so 10 million divided by 10 equals 1 million.
Answer: 1 million atoms
1/100000 or one 100000th meter. like hair diameter; very small. if you have a ruler with 1 mm on it, .01mm is 100 times smaller of that size. 1 inch = 25.4mm.
1 millimeter=1,000 micrometers
follow
01 mm = 01/25.4 = 0.03937 inches, approx.
Most metric micrometers have graduations of .01mm (.001"), and some read to .001mm or nearly .0001". Depending on the application, digital and vernier types are available in both. See "LS Starrett Company" or Mitutoyo America Corporation.
500 micrometers. 1000 micrometers = 1 millimetre.
