It's not very acidic, but yes it is. Any pH lower than seven is considered to be acidic, and any pH higher than seven is basic. If a substance has a pH of 7, that means the substance is considered to be neutral.

5 is a slightly acidic pH.

The pH scales ranges from 0 - 14

0 being the most acidic and 14 being the most alkaline.

pH = 7 is neutrality.

NB Water is at this pH .

NNB Within the human anatomy the skin is slightly acidic, urine is slightly alkaline.

The stomach acid is very acidic ; pH = 1. (hydrochloric acid present). .

It's acidic. As pH is a log scale with 7 being neutral and numbers below that acidic and above it basic, it is acidic. The average cup of coffee has a pH of about 5.

if pH = 7, the solution is neutral

So a solution with a pH of 5 is acidic
