KNO2 is a salt. HNO2 is a weak acid, so its conjugate base, NO2 is going to be a strong base. So, NO2 is going to determine the pH of the salt KNO2.

Is KNO3 a base acid or salt?

Potassium Nitrate is a salt

Is LiNO3 an acid base or neutral?

It is most likely a neural salt as NaNO3 and KNO3 are alike

What is potssium?

It is the Potassium(K+) salt of Nitric acid(HNO3). Its formula is KNO3

Nitric acid hydrochloric acid sulfuric acid propane gas table salt what is a nonelectrolyte?

All the acids (nitric, hydrochloric, sulfuric) dissociate in water thus are electrolytes. Table salt (NaCl) also dissociates. Propane is a gas at RT and is nonpolar, does not dissociate in water and thus it is a nonelectrolyte

When acid reacts with a base does it create salt and water?

YES!!! Here are the general acid reactions. Acid + Base = Salt + Water Acid + Alkali - Salt + Water Acid + metal = Salt + Hydrogen Acid + Carbonate = Salt + Water + Carbon Dioxide. Here are some examples 2HCl + Na2O = 2NaCl + H2O HNO3 + KOH = KNO3 + H2O H2SO4 + Zn = ZnSO4 + H2 2CH3COOH + CaCO3 = Ca(CH3COO)2 + H2O + CO2

What are nonelectrolyte sulfuric acid hydrochloric acid propane gas table salt?

propane is non-electrolyte as it cannot produce ions

What is potssium nitrate?

It is the Potassium(K+) salt of Nitric acid(HNO3). Its formula is KNO3

Which is a nonelectrolyte sulfuric acid hydrochloric acid propane gas table salt?

Only propane is non-electrolyte because it can not produce ions.

What is formed when an acid and a base is mixed?

when an acid and a base combine, salt and water are formed. This process of reaction of an acid and base is called neutralisation.

Is table salt is a nonelectrolyte?

no

Which one would form a nonelectrolyte solution in water C6H12O6 OR CU2SO4 OR KCI OR NaNO3?

NaBr is a salt because it has Na in it CuNo32 may be a nonelectrolyte NH3 is a base KOH is a base CaCl2 may be a nonelectrolyte hope that somewhat helps

Is Salt formed when an acid or a base react chemically?

Yes. An acid-base reaction forms a salt and water. acid+ + base− = salt + water
