No, NF3 is polar. (x1) Nitrogen- 5 valence electrons (one lone pair) (x3) Flourine- 7 valence electrons Lewis Dot- .. N | | | :F::F::F:  ¨ ¨ ¨ VSEPER causes F's to be pushed away from N. All force arrows direct toward F's because F's electronegativity is larger than N's.

NF3 is polar because when you draw the Lewis structure, it has a lone pair of electrons, which automatically makes it polar.

There is no compund NF, there is however NF3, nitrogen trifluoride. the N-F bond is polar, NF3 has trigobal pyramidal shape and is polar
