No - quite the opposite - and it isn't a strong acid either. It is a strong Arrhenius base due to the hydroxide (makes it a base) and the sodium (makes it a strong base).

NO!!!! Definitely not. NaOH is Sodium hydroxide and it is a strong alkali.

An alkali is a base that dissolves into water.
