Molecules are in "active" or "inactive", "functional" or "non-functional", "native" or "degraded" form, but we can not strictly say they are alive or dead! When one uses a molecule are alive, this directly implies to the above!

No, life is not easy to define, but generally, in order to be considered life it is necessary for something to; grow, reproduce, have a metabolism, and in some way respond to stimulus. (There are other things fairly commonly agreed upon too.)

Molecules are simply a collection of atoms bound together such that they share electrons. They certainly do not reproduce, or have a metabolism.

they die because the golgi apparatus explodes and protiens get hit by the unlicitc acids inside the sac of the golgi apparatus.
